Anthem has had its fair share of criticism, 10 weeks after the pre-launch and many updates later, the game has released the first new stronghold. Many players voiced their disappointment on social media, the boss isn’t fun, just more of the same as it was just a Fury, but bigger. The design of the Stronghold itself looks great and with the few changes that they made balancing Javelins, its isn’t all bad.
But as the developers noted themselves, The game is not living up to its potential and still has ways to go before reaching that point. They are working hard to deliver and despite worries from the community they said that they are not giving up on Anthem.
The road-map they showed before launch is delayed, the big updates that were expected to come out this month like “the cataclysm” have been pushed back in order to make the game more stable and fun to play, as the loot system is still bad and players are still having problems with the imbalanced flow of the game.
